Some people think classics are BORING! Others think that they’re fascinating. My love for classics is in the Fascinating side, for movies. For books, my choice is in-between. , Most classic books are BORING, but there are a couple classic books out there that are super cool and interesting like, “A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court”. This book is about a person who goes back in time and improves mostly everything. I would like to do that! Like starting some days over (the ones that were bad) and fix the mistakes making it the best day ever! But that is not the point. Let’s start the story!
Once upon a time, there is a person whom was named Hank. Hank is a hard working factory mechanic in the 1900s but one of his clumsy coworkers hit him in the head with a crowbar and knocks hank unconscious. When he wakes up, he’s in the 1300s! This must be a dream. One of King Arthur’s guards thought that hank was a prisoner of the King and the guards take him away to England to be punished, but it doesn’t work out that way. Hank gets promoted to the king’s prime minister—a.k.a. the king’s biggest helping hand, with a reputation for performing miracles. Before hank came, Merlin was the prime minister, but with hanks futuristic tools, merlin gets kicked out with a big BOOM, (Because hank blew up Merlin’s tower with firecrackers and dynamite). A few months of changes with school curriculums and bikes for knights (instead of horses) the holy fountain stops working. Merlin is using all of his strength to fix it, but Hank notices that it’s just a leak so he grabs his tools and fixes it in under 20 minutes. He is a hero!
I’m not the type of person to spoil anything so I will leave you to find out what Hank improves next, and what merlin is going to do to get his position back! I think this is one of the greatest classics of all time. If you are unsure about my decision, you mean nothing to me until you read the book and love it, but I shouldn’t be pushing any one to read a book, it’s your decision. Just saying!
